To make fun watching MCU and DCEU movies, today we’re going to list down the movies released that belonged to them in a chronological order. Yey.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
There are twenty movies in total after disregarding various television series that similarly connect in accordance with the timeline. While you can choose to watch them in the order that they were released in theaters, going through them all in chronological order would serve far better. This is because every single movie provides not only insight but also deeper understanding on how the different events line up like building blocks.
That being said, there is no denying that watching through all of the MCU movies in a single sitting if possible, will take considerable time. But if you’re really a fan, it doesn’t cost that much for you. lols
The following is how you should watch the MCU in chronological order to get ready before “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” assemble for the third time.
- Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
- Iron Man (2008)
- The Incredible Hulk (2008)
- Iron Man 2 (2010)
- Thor (2011)
- The Avengers (2012)
- Iron Man 3 (2013)
- Thor: The Dark World (2013)
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
- Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
- Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
- Ant-Man (2015)
- Captain America: Civil War (2016)
- Black Panther (2018)
- Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
- Doctor Strange (2016)
- Ant-Man and The Wasp (2018)
- Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
- Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
DC Extended Universe
In 2014, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment announced an ambitious series of movies based on DC Comics characters. Warner Bros. and DC's answer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe got fully underway in 2016 with the DC Extended Universe. "Man of Steel's" spiritual sequel "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad" was both released to an underwhelming response.
The DC Extended Universe is in full swing after the release of the Justice League movie. Even with that film's disappointing box office performance, the DCEU isn't going away anytime soon, and there are still lots to look forward to. As it stands, there are only five movies in the DC Extended Universe. "Man of Steel," "Batman V Superman" and "Justice League" all essentially serve as a trilogy. "Suicide Squad" is a total spin-off and "Wonder Woman" is primarily a flashback to the First World War. With the future of the franchise riding on these early installments, you might as well watch them in the order they came to out, get the most out of these movies,
· Man of Steel (2013)
· Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
· Suicide Squad (2016)
· Wonder Woman (2017)
· Justice League (2017)
In the comment box below, share your experience while and after watching these movies. Thanks.
